Job Information
Estimating, generating quotations, processing customer purchases. Schedules, coordinates, and oversees multiple packaging projects including but not limited to scheduling of sub-contractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the project, and inspecting all work during fabrication and assembly to ensure quality and compliance with drawings, P&IDs and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and oversee all phases of the equipment packaging process
- Customer specification review
- Estimating project costs for the preparation of both budgetary and firm packaging proposals
- Preparing both budgetary and firm equipment packaging proposals
- Processing of customer purchase orders
- Maintaining project schedules for timely supply of equipment and documentation
- Ensures all labor and materials are ordered in a timely manner, based on production and installation lead times; orders and coordinates delivery/pick-up of all materials required, ensuring pricing meets established budgetary requirements
- Performs constant on-site monitoring and quality control function; manages and resolves punch lists and potential issues and problems
- Ensures that equipment is packaged safely, in accordance with customer requirements, meeting all quality standards, and within timing required of the customer purchase order
Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Engineering a plus but not required. Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Practical pump knowledge
- Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Basic competence in subordinates' duties and tasks
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment with flexibility for hybrid work. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers are used. Occasional visits to warehouses or operational sites may be required.
