What You'll Do

As the Senior Corporate Account Manager, you will support Dyno Nobel North America marketing efforts related to the mining industry, including market share development, customer relationship development, and coordination of sales and service distribution to customer. You will be responsible for collaborating with Product Managers and Regional Managers to drive marketing strategies and activities to ensure exceeded customer satisfaction. Other duties include:

  • Service existing customers, identify market opportunities, respond to competitive activity, and promote the full range of the company's solutions to assigned accounts.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, technical developments, and evolving regulations affecting the competitive environment.

  • Coordinate onsite blast crew activities as needed at established client sites.

  • Understand client needs and deliver innovative solutions, aligning company offerings with customer business objectives and showcasing the value proposition of the products/services. Partner with distributors, regional managers, and product managers to ensure alignment.

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure alignment with client expectations.

  • Provide onsite technical support to improve blasting results for key customer.

  • Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety. (Ensure Safe Act Observations, Job Safety Analyses, Take 5's, stretching, and all safety rules are being completed.)

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Company HSE Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

  • Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Corporate Values.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality Performance Standards, as well as applicable acts and regulations.

  • Prepare reports and presentations for client meetings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, mining, blasting, engineering, or other related field or equivalent education, training and experience

  • MSHA Part 46 & Part 48 Certified. (Company will pay for completion or refresher)

  • 10+ years' work experience in explosives industry with emphasis on technical application to the mining industry.

  • Strong understanding of contracting process.

  • Experience leading negotiations for complex, multi-year agreements.

  • Blasting experience in coal, iron ore, or similar.

  • Ability to learn and use mining software systems including Vulcan.

  • Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
