Financial Services Professional

Cianbro is seeking a Financial Services Administrator who can support multiple areas within the department. This position is part of a dynamic Corporate Accounting team and involves significant interaction with our Corporate Finance and Project teams, as well as external stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Support Payables transactional accounting functions for 15+ companies and accounts.
• Analyze transactions and data for accuracy and trends.
• Resolve data discrepancies.
• Utilize Key Performance Indictors to identify and maintain continuous improvement.
• Responsible for all payroll tax activities, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. File and pay local, state, and federal payroll tax returns.
• Support account reconciliation process in accounts payable and payroll.
• Review submitted W9, vendor information forms, and bank information.
• Creating vendors/customers by inputting data in construction management software (CMiC).
• Manage email, requests, changes, and inquiries.
• Verify bank information.
• Identify and mitigate fraudulent activity.
• Internal and external customer service

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of five years of accounting related experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to clearly and concisely interface with all levels within the organization.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• A motivated self-starter with a "Can-do" attitude.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to shift easily between priorities and projects along with managing multiple deadlines.
