We have an exciting opportunity for aDirector of Human Resources located in Fond du Lac, WI . How you will contribute: The Director of Human Resources is a pivotal leadership role that blends strategy with hands-on HR management. You will lead a talented HR team, partner with senior leadership, and champion initiatives that align people strategies with our business goals. This role will report to Ahern's Executive Vice President of HR and General Counsel. This role offers the opportunity to impact all facets of human resources across the full employee lifecycle. What You'll Do:
What you need to qualify: Ahern will help make the most of your Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's or HR certifications such as SHRM-SCP/SPHR preferred). 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources. Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, compensation/benefits, and HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred). Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills. Proven ability to balance strategy with operational execution in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a collaborative leader with integrity, sound judgment, and a passion for people. Prior experience dealing with all levels of an organization including executives. Demonstrated experience leading an HR team comprised of managers, business partners, recruiters, learning and development as well as benefits and HRIS systems specialists.
