Pantheon Data (a Kenific Holding company) is a private, small business based in the Washington, DC, area. Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Our service offerings have grown in the past ten years, including infrastructure resiliency, contact center operations, information technology, software engineering, program management, strategic communications, engineering, and cybersecurity. We have also grown our customer base to include commercial clients. The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.

Position Overview

Pantheon Data has an immediate need for an experienced Enterprise Architect to support our Federal client. The Enterprise Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the overall IT infrastructure, strategy, & governance in support of the US Navy's mission to transform their pay and personnel IT infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of various IT technologies, platforms, and architectures, as well as the ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable IT solutions.

Responsibilities



  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within the US Navy to understand and define pay and personnel IT enterprise architecture requirements and objectives.
  • Assess, design, and implement the overall IT architecture, including hardware, software, networks, servers, and cloud services, to support Navy pay and personnel transformation.
  • Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate IT designs and standards, ensuring alignment with Navy's mission objectives.
  • Define and enforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices to ensure consistency and alignment with Navy's strategic goals.
  • Works closely with Domain architects and leaders to develop domain roadmaps.
  • Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for optimization in the context of Navy's requirements and objectives.
  • Collaborate with security, network, and other IT teams to ensure that IT infrastructure meets Navy's security, compliance, and performance requirements.


Required Skills and Experience



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or similar role, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in designing and implementing complex IT architectures.
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure technologies, including hardware, software, networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
  • Experience with Knowledge of pay and personnel business processes specifically for Navy
  • Experience of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)
  • Proficiency in architecture modeling tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) preferred.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.


Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Work Location: United States - Remote

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
