Job Overview

We are looking for an onsite Warranty Administrator at our Komatsu dealer!



In this role you'll work with service teams toprocessclaims for reimbursement of expenses incurred after performing qualified warranty repairs and factory campaigns on heavyequipment. You'll also maintain complete and accurate records on claim history and accounting activities.



If you have prior warranty, parts, or service quoting experience in the automotive or equipment industry, you could be a great fit!

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the service teams to get required information for warranty claims
  • Open and close warranty work orders
  • Use CDK, Excel, and Microsoft Teams daily
  • Provide regional warranty support across multiple Komatsu branches
  • Compile documentation and create explanation of claim and submit for processing.
  • Review claim tracking system and keep record of outstanding and paid claims.
  • Process credit memos and reconcile claims to the general ledger
  • Track factory campaigns and 90 day revisits.
  • Assist managers and staff as requested to assure effective and efficient operations of region

Qualifications/Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Associate Degree or 5+ years experience
  • Familiarity with construction and mining equipment preferred, or experience in a similar industry such as automotive
  • Ability to read and comprehend and write instructions
  • Ability to compute and calculate basic math including percentages and ratios
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Excel, as well as manufacturing, parts, or order processing software and SAP preferred
  • Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
  • Responds promptly to customer needs with strong communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and planwork
  • Reacts well under pressure; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Able to travel 10%
