Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Business Development to lead and manage the company's growth initiatives. The Director will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth in alignment with Goldbelt Group C6's vision and goals. This role requires a deep understanding of government contracting, as well as the ability to lead capture management efforts and foster relationships with key stakeholders.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to expand the company's presence.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, and analysis of industry trends and federal procurement opportunities (e.g., RFPs, RFQs).
  • Oversee the proposal process for task orders, including strategic guidance on RFI/RFP analysis, content development, and final product preparation.
  • Create strategies and identify resources to increase win probability
  • Assist in the capture process for high-value contracts, including development of capture plans, win strategies, proposal development oversight, and competitive analysis.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and teaming arrangements with other businesses to enhance the company's capabilities and competitiveness.
  • Oversee the proposal process, ensuring timely and competitive responses to government solicitations. Collaborate with internal teams (technical, operational, and legal) to produce high-quality, compliant proposals.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis and stay abreast of emerging industry trends, regulations, and competitors. Leverage this information to guide business development efforts and position the company for success.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of business development efforts. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on progress, wins, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Government acquisition programs.
  • Knowledge of risk management, mitigation and quality control.
  • Ability to work with the BD and Proposal team in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to lead and facilitate business development meetings and activities.
  • Excellent researching, reading, writing, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office products(e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, capture management, or sales in federal government contracting, preferably in healthcare, defense, or IT services.
  • Proven track record of winning government contracts and growing business lines.
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
