JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Freelance Senior Manager, Ad Sales Research to join the team at FOX Corporation. In this role, you will be a key player in helping our Ad Sales teams and clients make smarter decisions by translating complex media consumption and advertising performance data into clear, actionable insights. You will be a strategic partner, a skilled storyteller, and a leader in understanding what drives audience engagement and ad effectiveness across FOX Entertainment and FOX Sports. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead Research and Insights Generation: You will manage the end-to-end process of ad sales research projects, from identifying key business questions to delivering compelling, insight-driven presentations. This includes designing research solutions that measure brand performance, advertising ROI (Return on Advertising Spend), and audience engagement. Client, Vendor, and Internal Stakeholder Management: You will build and maintain strong relationships with Ad Sales executives and clients, acting as a trusted advisor to help them understand and leverage our data. You'll translate complex findings into clear narratives that inform their campaigns and strategic goals. Data Analysis and Storytelling: You will analyze quantitative data from various sources (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, first-party data) and create clear, persuasive presentations and deliverables (e.g., presentations, infographics, case studies). Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will work closely with other departments like Ad Sales, Marketing, and Pricing & Planning to ensure research insights are aligned with broader business objectives and used to develop more compelling product offerings and sales collateral. Strategic Contribution: You'll use your deep knowledge of media consumption trends and the advertising landscape to contribute to the evolution of our research methodologies and tools. You will identify new opportunities and help inform the development of data assets and analytics platforms.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
7-11 years of experience in ad sales research, media research, or a related field, preferably within a media or entertainment company. Deep understanding of the media and advertising ecosystem, including linear TV, digital, and streaming platforms. Proven ability to translate complex data from sources like Nielsen and comScore into clear, actionable insights and compelling stories. Strong experience in client-facing roles, with a track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships. Expertise in preparing and delivering high-impact presentations to both internal and external audiences. Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Experience with a range of research methodologies and tools, with a strong foundation in quantitative analysis.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $55.00-70.00 per hour.
