Learn About a Day in the Life of a Medical Assistant:

• Under the general direction of the providers, you are delegated the autonomous authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out assigned duties.
• Responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting the providers in the delivery of world-class medical care.
• Nursing practice must be within current standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the center.

• Completed a Medical Assistant program from a licensed institution
• Current MA licensure in the State of Idaho
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Commitment to the team problem solving approach using a patient-focused model
