The opportunity

As the International Captain, you function as the Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of Adobe Inc. aircraft on both Domestic and International missions, reporting to the Chief Pilot. You have direct responsibility for the safety and comfort of all passengers and crew, compliance with company policies and global regulations, and timely operation of the flight.

What you'll do

  • Drive excellence through outstanding customer service, good judgment, ethical behavior, and continuous improvement;
  • Ensure that the assigned aircraft is operated in compliance with applicable FARs, the Adobe FOM and all state, local, federal and international aviation regulations, and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and limitations;
  • Complete appropriate risk assessment process, applies FOM risk mitigation, in collaboration with the entire flight crew (including the SIC, additional pilot and Flight Attendant);
  • Provide pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight briefs to all crew-members to ensure all critical information is communicated, discussed and assimilated;
  • In conjunction with the Flight Attendant, coordinate the safety of all food and beverage items brought aboard the aircraft, including ice and potable water;
  • Take on the responsibility of being the main connection for Dispatch, Maintenance, and Executive Protection;
  • Act as local point of contact for traveling executive passengers

What you need to succeed

  • Licenses: FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate with large cabin Turbojet Type rating(s). Good physical health and the ability to maintain an FAA First Class Medical Certificate required;
  • 5 years global experience as Pilot-In-Command of large cabin aircraft in corporate or commercial aviation;
  • Extensive flight experience, including four thousand (4,000) hours total flight time and a minimum of two thousand (2,000) hours multi-engine turbojet, including significant international flight experience;
  • Detailed familiarity with FAA FAR Part 91 and ICAO regulations;
  • Knowledge, understanding and open endorsement of Safety Management System (SMS) philosophies;
  • Knowledge of aircraft Scheduling, including mobile technology applications;
  • Excellent interpersonal, mentorship and leadership skills;
  • Excellent time, project and team management skills
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $175,200 -- $347,000 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
