Your Impact

As a Senior Product Quality Engineer, you will ensure that new optical products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability from design through launch and into the field. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to drive product success, mitigate risks, and support customer satisfaction.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Lead NPI product launches by developing quality plans, identifying risks, and ensuring products meet reliability and quality requirements.
  • Serve as the quality owner throughout the lifecycle, coordinating resources, managing risk mitigation, and ensuring adherence to standards.
  • Monitor field product performance, drive closed-loop issue resolution and maintain customer trust.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to improve execution across engineering and product teams.
  • Support data-driven decision-making on complex tradeoffs to align with quality objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical or Optical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Experience leading technical NPI product launches.
  • Experience applying telecom/datacom reliability and quality standards (Telcordia, IPC, DFx).
  • Demonstrated project management and data analysis experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills with ability to present technical issues to varied stakeholders.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-directed, with a desire to learn new methods and mentor others.
  • Effective leadership and collaboration skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.
  • Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred; Black Belt a plus.
