Vocational Specialist - Community Treatment Team - Monaca, PA

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree. Preferred focus on rehabilitation counseling.

• 1-2 years of experience supporting individuals with mental illness will be considered for candidates without a preferred bachelor's degree in rehabilitation counseling.

• Proficiency in recovery principles and working within a recovery-driven system.

• Valid Driver's License. Travel is necessary to offer support across Beaver County.

As a Vocational Specialist, you'll lead consumer engagement using the Supported Employment model, working in homes and community settings to provide personalized, recovery-oriented services.

Position Details

• Lead consumer engagement in community settings through the Supported Employment model, driving job development, placement, and coaching.

• Conduct vocational assessments and provide tailored skill development to help individuals achieve employment and educational goals.

• Collaborate actively with consumers and community partners, participating in Community Support Planning to align support strategies.

• Build and maintain relationships with employers, providing ongoing support and guidance to ensure sustained consumer success.

Our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) model supports individuals with serious mental illnesses who may not have experienced success or haven't found effective support within traditional outpatient programs. We offer tailored services emphasizing relationship-building and active involvement in enhancing functioning and symptom management.
