Job Summary:
The Government Programs Customer Service Representative provides timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries related to government programs. This position will work closely with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and accurately to inquiries via phone, email, or chat.
* Resolve customer issues within policy guidelines while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer needs and provide solutions.
* Identify trends in customer issues and provide feedback to management on ways to improve processes and procedures.
* Maintain knowledge of government program requirements and regulations to effectively assist customers.
* Utilize resources to stay updated on industry changes and enhance product knowledge.
* Document all interactions with customers accurately and completely for auditing purposes.

Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Excellent customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
* Demonstrated ability to learn new processes quickly.
* Minimum of one year of experience in a call center environment.
* Experience with federal government healthcare programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or Veterans Affairs is highly desirable.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
