Description: The primary functions of this position are patient-centered service and satisfaction to bilingual (Spanish) patients, as well as financial responsibility for cash, collections, accounts receivable, and revenue reporting. Monitoring the accuracy of the patient accounts and patient demographic information in the patient management system are part of these responsibilities. The Dental Clinic Clerk I is responsible for generating and responding to standard reports for management and responding to patient inquiries (in person, on the phone, or via mail in Spanish and English). In addition, the Dental Clinic Clerk I interacts with other University personnel and external agencies on an as-needed basis. Duties & Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications Required: 1. High school graduation or equivalent. 2. One year (12 months) of experience: A. Certified Dental Assistant in a dental clinic facility, program, or in dentistry practice, if required by employing institution OR B. credit for college/university course work and/or training in dental care, health care related areas, or closely related medical/dental areas
OR C. customer service/management in a medical/dental setting 3.
