Are you passionate about environmental stewardship and ready to make a tangible impact? As an Environmental Specialist - MGP, you'll play a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and driving environmental excellence at our former Manufactured Gas Plant (MGP) sites. This dynamic role blends fieldwork, data analysis, and strategic collaboration to support remediation efforts and environmental monitoring programs.

You Will:

• Conduct field tasks including pump maintenance, soil and groundwater sampling, and site monitoring

• Support environmental investigations and remediation efforts through data collection, analysis, and reporting

• Assist with permitting, regulatory documentation, and compliance tracking

• Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to ensure deliverables, budgets, and timelines are met

• Maintain organized records and contribute to environmental risk assessments and process improvements

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to environmental incidents

• Analyze environmental data and identify trends to support decision-making and regulatory engagement

• Draft submittals and assist with regulatory communications

• Support the Senior Specialist and Environmental Manager with remediation-focused tasks

You Have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, site investigation, or remediation (MGP or CERCLA experience is a plus)

• Familiarity with RCRA, CERCLA, and EPA/OSHA standards

• Hands-on experience with field sampling, environmental monitoring, and data management

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, GIS, Bluebeam, Adobe, and other relevant software

• A valid driver's license and willingness to obtain HAZWOPER certification

We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $113,250 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
