Dematic is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Material Handler to support our warehouse and logistics operations. This role does not involve operating powered industrial equipment but plays a critical part in ensuring accurate packing, manifesting, and quality auditing of materials and products. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality. This role will be working Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. We offer:

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $18.50 to $22.50 an hour at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role

  • Accurately pack products according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Ensure proper labeling of packages, including barcodes, shipping labels, and handling instructions.
  • Prepare and verify shipping manifests and documentation for outbound shipments.
  • Cross-check item counts, weights, and descriptions to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform visual inspections and quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conforming products.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Maintain accurate records of material movement and storage locations.
  • Organize and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

What We are Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret packing slips, manifests, and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
