The Opportunity

Ulteig is actively searching for a dynamic Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead the charge in cultivating game-changing relationships across our Lifeline Sectors: Power, Renewables, Transportation, and Water. This is an opportunity to shape the future of Ulteig's growth strategy. As Director, you'll be the orchestrator who designs, executes, and scales the partnerships ecosystem. You'll negotiate impactful agreements, build partner programs, and create joint go-to-market initiatives that expand our influence and drive measurable business growth.

What You'll Do

The Director of Strategic Partnerships will:



  • Establish and expand strategic relationships with new and existing partners, clients, and subconsultants in our Lifeline Sectors
  • Lead contract negotiations, structuring agreements that balance speed-to-market, long-term value, and risk management
  • Design scalable partner frameworks, including joint go-to-market strategies, co-marketing campaigns, partner enablement, and incentive models
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of partnerships and drive measurable revenue impact tied to defined targets
  • Lead the creation of proposals and cost estimates that leverage partner strengths and resources
  • Advise business leaders on opportunities with partners, aligning strategies with corporate priorities
  • You will act as the orchestrator who not only designs strategy BUT you will also rolls up your sleeves to deliver results
  • Define and implement repeatable processes and governance frameworks for partnerships in collaboration with Business Operations
  • Establish KPIs and reporting dashboards to measure the health, ROI, and strategic value of partnerships
  • Partner with Corporate Development on potential acquisitions, including diligence and integration opportunities
  • Track industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory dynamics to inform partnership strategy
  • Work closely with Procurement, Marketing, Public Policy, Engineering, and Corporate Development to maximize partner impact
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
  • Expand Ulteig's partnerships building a diverse and resilient ecosystem
  • Regularly refine the approach to partnerships to adapt to evolving market needs and organizational goals


What We Expect From You



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development, preferably in Power, Renewables, Transportation, or Water.
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing, negotiating, and managing strategic partnerships that drive measurable business growth
  • Experience designing and scaling partner programs, including GTM, co-marketing, or revenue-sharing models
  • Proven ability to define and track KPIs tied to revenue, pipeline contribution, and partner satisfaction
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on execution
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and align senior executives and external stakeholders
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring talent
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.

Additional Opportunity Details:
Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $181,200 - $245,200
* Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role
