Service Desk Engineer (Contract-to-Hire)

Onsite in Cleveland, TN

Contract-to-Hire | Conversion Salary: $70,000

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Standard Business Hours

About the Role:

We're seeking a Service Desk Engineer to join our team onsite in Cleveland, TN. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a competitive conversion salary of $70,000.

This role is ideal for a proactive, experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in solving technical issues that directly impact business operations.

What You'll Do



  • Provide Level 2/3 IT support to internal users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues related to:

    • Microsoft 365 and Exchange administration
    • Networking (firewalls, VPNs, switching)
    • VOIP systems, hardware, and end-user devices


  • Maintain and optimize IT infrastructure with a focus on uptime and performance.
  • Collaborate with peers to ensure issues are resolved quickly and documented thoroughly.



Requirements:



  • 3+ years of IT support experience at a Level 2/3 capacity.
  • Hands-on expertise with Microsoft 365 & Exchange administration.
  • Strong network troubleshooting background (firewalls, VPNs, switching).
  • Must be onsite full-time in Cleveland, TN.



Preferred Experience with:



  • VOIP systems (Cisco, Zoom Phone, RingCentral, etc.).
  • Basic PowerShell scripting skills.
  • System monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Hardware support (workstations, servers, peripheral devices).
  • Strong documentation and collaboration skills.
  • High-growth IT environments
