Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an ARSST Analyst supporting the Space and Missile Defense Command's G37 Training, Readiness, and Exercises (TREX) division working in the Certification and Evaluation (C&E) Branch which develops, maintains, and conducts the certification and evaluation program of Army space forces personnel. Their mission is to provide support to the C&E branch to assist in coordinating and managing certification, training, and activities related to Army Space Support Teams (ARSST) Certification and Evaluations.

Odyssey is currently an incumbent supporting G37 and is awaiting the award announcement for work beginning on 29 Sept 2025.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Performing assessments
  • Developing operational evaluation scripts in coordination with lower level commands on all mission areas
  • Developing and conducting all types of briefings for government personnel to include senior leaders
  • Liaising, consulting, and meeting with government leaders and personnel.
  • Providing recommendations to government personnel
  • Working with leadership to establish project objectives and timelines, and monitor progress in order to evaluate performance
  • Evaluating risk levels and implications
  • Utilizing Microsoft Office products (including the ability to provide briefs, reports, etc for General Officer review)
  • Compiling and analyzing data and information about organizational policies and providing trend analysis and developing future policy recommendations
  • Leading small group discussions
  • Evaluating ARSST performance to determine if they are meeting or exceeding standards
  • Capacity to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Coordinating, synchronizing, and updating calendars
  • Preparing reports and updating internal and external databases
  • Following published policies, doctrine, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintaining currency with updated policies/standards for ARSSTs
  • Determining the most effective and efficient way to evaluate operators and verify compliance with additional and new requirements
  • Tailoring your writing style to meet the needs of your target audience
  • Proofreading products for errors in grammar or substance
  • Conducting analysis on planned and unplanned trips

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance with the ability to qualify for TS clearance; Ability to pass background check and polygraph if requested

Education:BS/BA Degree and Completed Army Ground-based Midcourse Defense Fire Control Operator Qualification Course (GQC)

Years of Experience: 10+ years of experience working on missile defense related or other complex, large DoD program/project

Preferred Qualifications

Clearance: Active TS Clearance

Education: A Master's degree in a business or space related field

Technical Skills

  • Experience with evaluating ARSST Teams
  • 1st Space Brigade experience

Additional Information

Location: Onsite at Peterson SFB, Building 3

Travel: ~10% as directed by Government Customer

Onsite: This position is fully onsite
