Role and job Responsibilities

Dassault Systemes seeks a highly motivated individual for a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Computational Aero-acoustics (CAA) position for our Industry Process Consultant team in North America. Our team is responsible for pre-sales activities across a variety of industries including transportation and mobility ,aerospace, industrial equipment, high tech and life sciences. This position offers the opportunity to work with SIMULIA's leading CFD solutions.

As part of the SIMULIA technical sales team, the candidate must be customer focused, responsive and able to develop a strong level of trust with customers to articulate the value of the solution being provided. You will be expected to support multiple customers and execute several projects with efficiency, as well as coordinate with internal technical and industry specialists to test and refine new methodologies and best practices. Main responsibilities will include providing technical expertise in pre-sales engagements and overseeing sales teams to ensure successful delivery of customer Proof-of-Concepts.

Additional responsibilities include pre-processing, administering and post-processing of customer benchmark cases, mentoring, customer account management in coordination with sales, collaboration with product development and research and development teams. Development of customized pre- and post-processing simulation templates for customer use. Analysis of customer requirements and positioning of market players. Live demonstrations of CFD solutions both in-person and virtually.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree with specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics methods
  • Preferred 1 year of industry experience
  • Expertise in high-fidelity CFD (LBM, RANS, LES, DES)
  • Industry knowledge in at least one of the following areas (ground transportation, aerospace, industrial equipment, high tech, life sciences)
  • Optimization and design of experiments methodologies
  • Process automation and scripting
  • CAD and CAE experience (CATIA, SPDM, PLM)
  • Thermal, aerodynamic, aero-acoustic application experience
  • Project and customer account management experience
  • High quality, professional and comprehensive technical presentation skills
  • Familiarity with physical test methods for aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and thermal applications
  • Willing to travel ~10%
  • Possible hybrid remote work environment
  • US Citizen preferred
  • Note: Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $115,200K and $135,500K, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus
