What Learning Development and Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health
Learning develops, deploys and evaluates learning solutions to support employee development and build organizational capability in alignment to business strategies. This function analyzes learning needs and develops training curricula, technologies, and programs. This function also manages trainings provided by third-parties and partners with leaders and subject matter experts within functions and business units to deliver learning.

Learning Development and Delivery provides instructor-led trainings and manages training processes to maximize the value that employees gain from learning solutions. This job family delivers training materials including presentations, guides and manuals, and course evaluations and coordinate training schedules based on training needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and develop team of 10-15 learning business partners
  • Assess and anticipate learning needs related to business functional training, role-based training, onboarding, leadership, professional development and systems training
  • Communicate business training needs to manager, the Learning & Development Center of Excellence (COE) and larger HR organization
  • Formulate partnerships with business SMEs, cross-functional partners, stakeholders and leadership, enabling the learning team to deliver value-added service that aligns with the business objectives of the organization
  • Maintain an effective level of knowledge about the financial position, as well as strategies (short term to mid and long range) and the culture of the business

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8-12 years of related experience preferred
  • 5+ years related experience in patient access, healthcare call center or an operations environment preferred
  • Experience in leading and developing teams preferred
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and deliver quality results within aggressive timeframes
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Must be willing to work 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Central Time Zone

  • Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels including senior management
  • Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or project timelines, prioritization and resources
  • Gains consensus from various parties involved

Anticipated salary range:$86,400-$143,145
