JOB OVERVIEW:

The Site Training Coordinator plays a critical role in building a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement by developing and delivering effective training programs for all site employees. This position is responsible for assessing training needs, designing and implementing learning solutions, and ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. The coordinator partners with subject matter experts and leadership teams to enhance workforce capability across manufacturing, quality assurance, food safety, maintenance, and other site functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, coordinate, and facilitate training programs that support site objectives in Safety, Quality, Service, Performance, and People.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging training materials, job aids, and documentation for technical and operational roles.
  • Assist in the development of SOPs and work instructions to support document control processes by ensuring proper versioning, approval workflows, and accessibility of training-related documentation.
  • Partner with managers and team leaders to identify training gaps and implement solutions that improve employee performance and compliance.
  • Regularly evaluate training programs for effectiveness, sustainability, and alignment with business goals.
  • Support site audits by providing training documentation and reports.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with state and corporate requirements, including ETP documentation.
  • Support new hire onboarding by coordinating site tours, assigning role-based training plans, and ensuring timely system access.
  • Provide system training for end users and trainers to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of training activities.
  • Prepare and present reports on training progress, compliance, and impact on operational performance.
  • Performs all duties in accordance with corporate procedures, policies, and accepted practices.

WHAT YOU NEED

*Minimum qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years of production/operations experience.
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Required to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate strategies into operational objectives and projects.
  • Experience leading and managing multiple projects independently with excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritizing competing tasks.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of food processing, packaging, sanitation, quality, and safety.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This is a standard manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, hazardous materials, and heavy machinery in varying work and weather conditions. You may be required to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
