Responsible for performing patient assessment preparation and monitoring for electrodiagnostic surgical procedures following established clinical guidelines. Operates maintains and troubleshoots associated medical devices/equipment. Functions in the EEG Lab EMG Lab Epilepsy Monitoring Unit and various ICU settings (NNICU & PICU).
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Enrollment in or graduation from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program or an Associate's Degree required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred Experience: 2 years' experience in patient environment preferred, preferably with a pediatric population. Licensure: American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods and frequently bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs.
