As a Security Officer - Shopping Center - Evening Shift in Vancouver, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment at a bustling retail location. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. You will also be expected to utilize technology such as computers or tablets to support your daily tasks. This position requires a valid driver's license, as driving may be a component of your duties. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond appropriately to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits as required by site-specific guidelines.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs or reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities encountered during shifts.
• Collaborate with store management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and provide a welcoming environment for visitors and employees.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 plus years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
