As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol - Weekends in Winston-Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be a visible presence at the assigned location, helping to deter security-related incidents and promoting a secure environment for all individuals on site. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, monitoring for any unusual activity, and providing outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document observations and incidents according to Allied Universal's protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff as required.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
