Our Approach
The Kollmorgen Internship Program provides accelerated training and professional development for college students pursuing careers in Environmental Health & Safety, Manufacturing, or Engineering. As an EHS Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting regulatory compliance, occupational safety, and environmental initiatives within a lean manufacturing environment. You'll work alongside experienced EHS professionals and contribute to meaningful projects that improve workplace safety and sustainability.

Potential Projects & Responsibilities

• Support regulatory compliance by reviewing, updating, and creating written occupational and environmental programs.
• Assist in improving critical safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), and Respiratory Protection.
• Conduct audits and reviews to enhance EHS program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Help maintain documentation and records to support compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Participate in safety inspections and contribute to corrective action planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for safety and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
