As Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be at the center of how we accelerate growth, enhance capabilities, and deliver complex, critical joint, large scale solutions to our customers.

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead the development, management, and growth of Peraton's enterprise strategic partner ecosystem. This role is essential to accelerating corporate strategy, enhancing solution delivery, and expanding our presence across our competitive landscape. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for shaping and managing alliances that create win/win outcomes.

This position reports to VP of Growth and collaborates closely with executive leadership, business units, solution architects, capture teams, and partner organizations.

Your key responsibilities may include:

    Identify, develop, and lead Strategic Partnerships Across the Enterprise: Build and manage long-term, high-value partnerships with commercial technology vendors, federal system integrators, research institutions, academia, innovation hubs, and other key stakeholders.
  • Support Growth and Capture Efforts: Internally to Peraton, work closely with business development and capture teams to align partner capabilities with upcoming federal opportunities, including proposal support, teaming strategies, and solution differentiation. Externally with our Partners, develop co-marketing, co-delivery, and joint IP strategies with partners to expand our presence in federal, defense, and national security sectors.
  • Project Manage Technology and Solutions Alliances: Oversee key technical partnership milestones of the relationship that enhance our offerings in areas such as cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital transformation.
  • Drive Technology and Innovation Integration: Identify and onboard advanced technologies in areas such as AI/ML, cyber defense, cloud, C5ISR, data analytics, and secure communications to enhance mission readiness.
  • Coordinate Internal Partnership Enablement: Work cross-functionally to enable internal teams-delivery, proposals, legal, compliance, and contracts-to engage efficiently with strategic partners across the deal lifecycle.
  • Track and Report Partner Performance: Define partnership success metrics and develop dashboards, reporting frameworks, and governance models to measure and evolve strategic value.
  • Lead Partnership Governance and Execution: Oversee partnership structures, agreements (teaming, CRADA, MOUs), joint pipeline development, and performance tracking.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 16+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or technology alliances-ideally within the federal systems integration, defense contracting, or enterprise technology space.
  • Track record of establishing and managing high-value partnerships that result in revenue growth, innovation, and competitive positioning.
  • Direct experience with major technology platforms, commercial cloud providers, and federal ecosystem partners.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, project management, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across business units, technical domains, and corporate functions in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong understanding of the federal contracting and procurement landscape, including teaming structures, IDIQs, GWACs, and innovation programs (e.g., OTA, SBIR/STTR).
  • Strong executive presence, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Located in the DC Metro Area
  • US Citizenship

Target Salary Range

$190,000 - $304,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
