This individual must have excellent communication skills, adhere to FERPA and confidentiality requirements and follow federal/state regulations. The office assistant will greet all individuals requesting assistance in the department. Duties and responsibilities include: Welcomes and greets visitors, students, parents in person or on the phone; directs visitors, students, and parents to appropriate department or sites. Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to analyze and solve problems Ability to work well under pressure Ability to interact and communicate with people in person or over phone, often in stressful situations Knowledge in MS Word and MS Excel for entering data Work experience is highly preferred Must be work-study eligible Must be enrolled at least half time Application Instructions Only applications submitted through Attach resume and Work Study award approval.
