The Opportunity
Lead the creation of secure, scalable sandbox and simulation environments to improve hands-on learning.
What you'll Do
- Define and lead the architecture for sandbox and simulation environments using cloud-native technologies, containers, VMs, and SaaS platforms.
- Drive the strategic roadmap for sandbox capabilities, including configuration options, simulation catalogues, and integration with Adobe Experience League.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code templates and automation pipelines to streamline environment deployment, scaling, and expiration.
- Implement enterprise-grade security controls, permissioning models, and outbound restrictions to prevent misuse and ensure compliance.
- Analyze and improve resource utilization, cost models, and support workflows; define fair-use guardrails and expiration policies.
- Align environment design with business goals to improve learner engagement, operational efficiency, and course alignment.
- Partner with TechOps, LMS, product, licensing, and compliance teams to align environment capabilities with learner entitlements and licensing data.
- Identify and prioritize gaps in DX product environment availability, ensuring learners access tools aligned with their licenses.
- Manage and develop a team of engineers and specialists, encouraging a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
What you need to succeed
- Over 10 years of experience leading central initiatives for cloud-based platforms, with a solid understanding of scalable environment provisioning.
- Proficiency in infrastructure automation and container technologies.
- Strong background in SaaS platform architecture, preferably with Adobe DX products.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional initiatives involving product, engineering, and operations teams.
- Deep understanding of enterprise security, permissions models, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience crafting sandbox-based learning environments and simulations to support customer education, feature adoption, and product training.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into roadmap decisions and influence both technical and non-technical collaborators.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Prior work in customer education, enablement, or training technology.
- Experience with Adobe Experience League and LMS integrations a plus.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,100 -- $273,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
