What to Expect
The Service Sales Account Manager plays a critical role in driving after-sales for front-of-the-meter Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) augmentation products. This position focuses on supporting customers such as electric utilities, independent power producers, and renewable energy developers with projects that are either currently operating or soon to be operational, requiring capacity augmentation as project needs evolve. A deep technical understanding of Tesla's energy product suite and comprehensive business knowledge of the energy storage market are essential. Responsibilities include leading projects from lead intake to contract execution, with support from Tesla's technical and commercial teams. This role balances internal coordination of diverse project teams (engineering, finance, legal) and external customer relationship management, contract negotiations, and deal closures. A strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, creativity, and passion for innovation in a dynamic technology and market landscape are key to success.
