The Technology Solutions Intern is responsible for providing support to our end users through visits, phone calls and remote support tools for daily hardware and software issues. The ideal candidate must be a highly motivated, self-directed individual capable of working under pressure within tight time frames. They must possess a high level of initiative and energy, an enthusiasm for learning, the capability to work with minimal supervision and have a client service approach to supporting users.


Responsibilities:



  • Take ownership and troubleshoot user help desk calls through to successful resolution.
  • Handles day-to-day user administration on corporate systems.
  • Troubleshoot production equipment problems.
  • Build and reimage computers and manage peripherals.
  • Keep current with application updates and industry trends in order to maximize IEWC's investment in computerized systems
  • Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required at the direction of management.



Qualifications:



  • Student must be pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • Student must be Junior or Senior academic standing.
  • Must be a collaborative, team player with a willingness to learn.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and type, to use hands to grasp, handle or feel, and to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must occasionally walk moderate distances and use stairs or elevator.
