Production Material Expeditor

As the Production Material Expeditor, you will direct material flow in the department. You will work with material handlers, planners, supervisors, and operators to ensure that the right materials are in the right place at the right time, and solve problems to make sure the production schedule can be met

You will be located onsite at PPG's Oak Creek, WI plant and will report to the Production Planning Expert. PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.

Responsibilities:

• Review production schedule and release batches to PA, based on RM availability and timing
• Monitor inventory and manage returns based on production schedules
• Order raw materials from 3PL warehouses and arrange receipts and unloading of trailers
• Balance the priorities of the production, pre-assembly, and warehouse teams
• Print batch tickets for production, create filling logs, and tank wagon packets
• Complete and close production tickets in Oracle
• Analyze kanban inventory and re-order as needed
• Manage hot box, including manual orders based on melting times
• Cycle count areas in production
• Create move orders

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years' experience of material/inventory control
• Microsoft Office Excel knowledge
• Experience with Oracle is a plus
