Vitro is looking for a Senior Maintenace Supervisor to provide day-to-day supervision for assigned maintenance crews. Responsible for coordinating maintenance activities for plant equipment, building and grounds, including tentative and preventative maintenance, work orders/requests, and project work. The incumbent must interface/update the SAP-PM system. The incumbent supervises assigned maintenance crew tasks, and assists in the training of maintenance employees. Provides leadership and direction to the safety of all employees and visitors to the plant. Collaborates with other departments to optimize production requirements and continuously improve plant performance through process improvements



The incumbent must have good working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and control systems including PLC programming; building systems, including but not limited to HVAC, compressed air systems, utility systems and water treatment process. A thorough understanding of raw material handling including conveyors, material elevators and associated equipment. Understanding of electrical systems and equipment such as motors, motor control centers, transformers, switchgears, control equipment, process instrumentation. Knowledge of manufacturing operations including product and employee safety, OSHA standards. Strong leadership, customer service, project management and organization skills are essential to effectively complete job responsibilities.



A minimum of 8 years' supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and practical hands on experience in a manufacturing facility. Project management experience required.
