Do you want to work on complex and pressing challenges-the kind that bring together curious, ambitious, and determined leaders who strive to become better every day? If this sounds like you, you've come to the right place.
Your Impact
You will join McKinsey's Private Capital Client Capability Network (CCN) - Transaction Center of Excellence, based in Boston. As part of this expanding team, you will collaborate with senior investors, practitioners, and McKinsey experts to deliver distinctive insights for private equity clients. By leveraging proprietary assets and advanced AI solutions, you will contribute to standardized modules in due-diligence and portfolio company work, playing a pivotal role in shaping investment decisions and creating lasting impact in a dynamic field.
The PC CCN is McKinsey's platform for Transaction excellence for private capital clients. Here, you will build intellectual property, digital assets, and consistent approaches for delivering high-quality due diligences, portfolio company transformations, and strategy engagements.
You will be part of a 3,500+ professional global CCN network delivering client impact and fostering innovation.
You will work with leaders in our Private Capital team to help investors build strong investment theses, generate insights, maintain a robust knowledge base, and develop innovative approaches for delivering transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute in a dynamic industry while gaining broad market exposure.
In this role, you will take on a range of responsibilities aimed at driving impactful outcomes. You will deliver standardized modules in due diligence, such as Voice of Customer analyses, B2B/B2C surveys, competitive landscape assessments, and market modeling. Your work will involve supporting investment thesis development, market sizing, and growth benchmarking by leveraging data-driven insights.
Collaborating closely with private equity practitioners, you will apply advanced GenAI solutions to codify knowledge and amplify impact. As part of a hub team of over 30 colleagues across North America, you will gain early exposure to a variety of sectors, enriching your professional experience. Additionally, you will work in partnership with Private Capital solution teams to ensure consistent excellence and foster innovation in client service.
Your Growth
Driving lasting impact and building long-term capabilities with our clients is not easy work. You are the kind of person who thrives in a high performance/high reward culture - doing hard things, picking yourself up when you stumble, and having the resilience to try another way forward.
In return for your drive, determination, and curiosity, we'll provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities you need to become a stronger leader faster than you ever thought possible. Your colleagues-at all levels-will invest deeply in your development, just as much as they invest in delivering exceptional results for clients. Every day, you'll receive apprenticeship, coaching, and exposure that will accelerate your growth in ways you won't find anywhere else.
When you join us, you will have:
  • Continuous learning: Our learning and apprenticeship culture, backed by structured programs, is all about helping you grow while creating an environment where feedback is clear, actionable, and focused on your development. • Global community: With colleagues across 65+ countries and over 100 different nationalities, our firm's diversity fuels creativity and helps us come up with the best solutions for our clients. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to learn from exceptional colleagues with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
