What You Will Do as a Distribution Manager:

This position leads the Distribution teams for the assigned distribution center. This includes but is not limited to directing the Inbound and Outbound work environment by training, coaching, evaluating, and initiating disciplinary action as needed.

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Manages departments within the assigned distribution center ensuring adequate staffing levels
  • Manages 7-10 hourly supervisory staff members engaged in operations to include:
  • Order fulfillment process
  • Maintaining distribution schedules to ensure our adherence to customer and company requirements, such as cost and quality
  • Physical and systematic product receiving and replenishment
  • Inventory accuracy - confirm inventory information matches the physical inventory quantities of the warehouse by recording and reporting data metrics
  • Ensure quality defect rates remain within an acceptable range
  • Measurement of daily and weekly workforce KPI's
  • Continuous process improvement objectives
  • Safety policy compliance
  • Budget planning and review responsibility. Perform financial calculations, completing, maintaining and managing budgets which include quarterly forecasting with monthly reviews with leadership teams.

Skills for Success:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3+ years of proven leadership experience in fulfillment, production, distribution, or a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis
  • Proven experience with Warehouse Management software
  • Outstanding communication skills to communicate information to audiences not familiar with specific subject matter
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Must understand workflow and incentive pay practices
  • Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
  • Ability to lead others through change
  • Ability to think independently and handle multiple projects through completion

This is a day shift position, overtime as needed.
