Essential Job Duties |
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a vital role in the daily operations of our department by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and coordinating surplus collections for the university. This position ensures timely and accurate delivery of medical, research, and administrative supplies, and supports\ operations by working closely with administrative, and facilities staff.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receiving, inspecting, and distributing incoming packages and supplies.
- Preparing and shipping outgoing materials, including medical and laboratory items.
- Accurately logging and updating inventory using Google Workspace and ezyVet systems.Organizing and tracking surplus items for university disposal or redistribution.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area.
- Communicating with vendors, couriers, and internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth logistics.nd maintain professional communication with the campus community.
