Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, debug, support, maintain and test software applications that support business units and/or supporting functions Serve as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource Design and develop the visual and interactive components of web applications Requirements: 10+ years of experience Extensive hands on experience in JavaScript, Ruby, Node.js, AngularJS, React and SQL Experience with Java, and knowledge of its ecosystems Ability to apply OOD (Java, HTML, XML, Java Script and Patterns) and impact to the application development process Familiarity with Hibernate, Spring Framework and Spring Boot Experienced in SOAP and REST API development and related data integration In depth understanding of object-oriented programming Experience in creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web application translating design mockups into functional, responsive interfaces and working closely with UX designers and backend developers Desired skills: Some knowledge of concurrency patterns in Java Knack for writing clean, readable Java code Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Experience supporting development activities in an Agile environment Experience with Wireframing and Quick prototyping Experience with GIT, BitBucket Understand the basics of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Knowledge of JIRA Knowledge of Agile process Understanding of DevOps tools Pay Range: $55.06-$63.06 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
