*Description*
This role supports the IT Service Management (ITSM) Discovery crew to support ITSM transformation initiatives. The Product Owner will be responsible for leading the team through prioritization and strategies as a leader on a team operating with an agile framework. Responsibilities include: * Coordinate/align portfolio backlog/roadmap and strategies across product and technology * Lead a crew and owning backlog * Own updates and presentations for senior leadership audiences JOB DESCRIPTION Owns the vision and the definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the customer. Provides guidance to concentrate the Scrum Team(s) effort on correct priorities based on business value. Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) to address client requirements to meet business objectives. Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog. Works in partnership with the Scrum Master(s) to ensure items are worked on in accordance with the product backlog. Serves as the primary point of contact for questions from the team(s). Accepts delivery of working product from the Scrum Teams(s). Reviews and validates Scrum Team(s) working product. Socializes the delivery of business value and outcomes of the iteration to various stakeholders. The company is launching a strategic initiative to modernize, automate, and manage IT services, operations, and other critical business functions by transitioning to a new, out-of-the-box ServiceNow instance. This will be accomplished by aligning with industry standards for enhanced regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and effectiveness. As a result of the Orange Rocket program, there is a need to build our crews in support of the Service Now Platform in the following modules: *IT Asset Management *IT Operations *IT Service Management * Enterprise Service Management *Employee Experience *IT Portfolio Management How is the Work Effort executed? (Workstreams and Use Cases) * This is a foundational program within Orange Rocket and potentially could have an impact to many use cases. Engagement with key stakeholders will occur as dependencies and impacts are identified. * 8 workstreams (ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, ITSM, End User Experience, Mnemonic Decomposition, Custom Apps & Service Catalog and Integrations & Reporting) exist, led by a Program Lead who is responsible for the overall delivery.
