Job Description TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. Network Engineer in Dahlgren, VA. Responsible for maintaining multiple computing environments by identifying network requirements; installing upgrades; monitoring network performance and managing network configuration consistency. The Sr. Systems/Network Engineer will provide engineering, design, and implementation solutions for multiple network architectures. * * Responsibilities: * Implement local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, & other data networks. * Experience with network routers and switch configuration experience. The environment includes Artysen, Cisco, Mellanox and Asante switches. * Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and system performance. * Perform network modeling and analysis. * Define diagrams and designs for business technology initiatives. * Enforce policies for standardizing systems. Requirements * Minimum six years of experience in networking, IT, or other related fields preferred * SD-Access, DNA Center and Cisco ACI experience * Familiarity with researching communication networks * Must have strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills * Strong attention to detail, good documentation skills, ability to write clear, concise project reports * Ability to function with minimal instruction or supervision, or as a part of larger team reporting to formal project Job Title Sr. Network Engineer * * Top Skills Details * IAT Level II Cert and Interim or Active Top Secret Clearance * Experience within layers 2-3 of the OSI model, network management software, Vlans, OSPF, BGP * Familiarity with models of TACLANES * SD-ACCESS, DNA Center or Cisco ACI experience * 6-8+ years of Networking experience Additional Skills & Qualifications * Nice to have is BGP/IPV6 experience and solid 3-4 layer experience, Openstack, STIG experience Worksite Address 15163 Dahlgren Road, King George, Virginia, United States, 22485 * * Additional Information * * Workplace Type Hybrid Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr.
