Job Description TEKsystems is hiring a Lead Low Voltage Technician to support the rebuild of their Nashville office and ongoing voice, data, and fire alarm projects in the area. This technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing low voltage systems including: * Fire Alarms * Access Control Systems * CCTV * Nurse Call Systems * Intercom Systems The ideal candidate will be a role model for integrity, results-driven performance, and teamwork, while contributing to a culture of employee recognition and delivering legendary service to both internal and external customers. Responsibilities * Program, start-up, troubleshoot, and commission new system installations * Perform point-to-point troubleshooting on low voltage systems * Communicate clearly with project leads and clients regarding status, challenges, and timelines * Assist with installations and ensure successful execution * Identify system issues and report to project lead * Review contract and design documents for accuracy before installation * Perform inspections to ensure code compliance * Complete detailed project reports * Respond to emergency service calls * Maintain strong written and oral communication * Demonstrate attention to detail and timely resolution of customer needs * Work rotating on-call schedule as required * Maintain prompt, regular in-person attendance during business hours * Perform other duties as assigned Skills Cat6, Install, Cable, Installation, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Cabling, Low Voltage Top Skills Details Cat6, Install, Cable, Installation, Access Control, Fire Alarm Additional Skills & Qualifications * Strong knowledge of low voltage systems * Technical and computer proficiency * Effective written and verbal communication * Ability to use lifts and climb ladders * Experience with hand tools and multi-meter * Ability to read technical drawings and manuals * Comfortable reporting to a Project Manager * Able to follow verbal and written instructions Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
