Security Technician - Commercial Installations Location: Morgantown/Fairmont, WV (Field-based) Office: Canonsburg, PA Contract Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Travel: Must use own vehicle; based south of Pittsburgh Company Overview: Our client is a leading service-based integrator of Electronic Security, Fire Alarm & Life Safety, Building Automation, and Healthcare systems. We are currently seeking a seasoned Security Technician to support commercial security installations across university and commercial sites in the Morgantown-Fairmont area. Top Skills Required: * Installation of security systems in commercial settings * CCTV setup and troubleshooting * Reading and interpreting blueprints * Access control systems * Low voltage wiring and cabling * Experience with brands such as Software House, Lenel, Amag, Kantech is a big plus Secondary/Nice-to-Have Skills: * Service and maintenance of installed systems * Cabling and conduit pulling * Servicing door contacts, electromagnetic locks, electric rubber sets * Familiarity with analog/IP video equipment and MVR/DVR video management software * Basic programming knowledge (not required but beneficial) Role Responsibilities: * Install and pull wire for security systems * Install devices including cameras, RJ45 jacks, access control hardware * Work independently and as part of a team * Use own hand tools; specialty tools provided by client * Wear company-provided uniform shirts * Lead field operations when needed * Work primarily at West Virginia University and other nearby commercial accounts Interview Process: * Onsite interview at Canonsburg, PA office Why Join Us? * Immediate need with fast interview turnaround * Opportunity to convert to a full-time role * Work with a respected integrator in a dynamic commercial environment * Supportive team and leadership Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
