DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Residential Program Trainee, you will provide valuable assistance to individuals in the mental health community residential rehabilitation (CRR) program who are engaged in the recovery process. This is a fulfilling opportunity to learn how to help those with behavioral health and co-occurring challenges, obtain the skills necessary to live independently and integrate into the community. With our training program, you will gain the skills necessary to participate in the development and implementation of individual service plans, counsel clients to effectively process daily stressors, as well as provide guidance regarding educational and vocational responsibilities and personal values. You may be required to provide transportation for clients as necessary. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Part-time employment, work hours will vary.
- 24/7 Residential facility for individuals with behavioral health and co-occurring disorders.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
