As a Security Officer Armed Aero Defense Patrol in Long Beach, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more.

As an Allied Universal team member in the aero and defense sector, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for our client's operations. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $28.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by local regulations.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
