This Position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor

ABB Electrification is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse/Internal Logistics Operator to support daily shipping operations and maintain an organized, efficient work environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to conduct all activities related to the handling of parts and semi-finished or final products in the warehouse. Each day, you will be responsible for sorting and arranging material for storage as per guidelines. You will also showcase your expertise by performing other routine activities according to established procedures.

Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help drive ongoing improvements throughout the shipping department.

Your Role:

  • Coordinate with Transportation Management, Inbound/Outbound Leadership, and carriers to schedule freight appointments and pickups. Perform check-in and check-out procedures for both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Prepare and manage documentation such as Bills of Lading, Purchase Orders, and carrier manifests. Monitor and update in-transit reports and resolve discrepancies using error logs.
  • Communicate with customer service representatives regarding order status, delivery timelines, and special customer requirements.
  • Ensure document control and compliance with internal procedures for both inbound and outbound freight

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
  • Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
