Overview NaphCare is hiring a Pharmacy Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team of medical professionals in Ft Myers, Florida, where we manage all aspects of healthcare for the individuals who are currently incarcerated in the Lee County Jail. As a Correctional Pharmacy Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work alongside correctional staff and other medical professionals to provide quality care to the individuals in residence ensuring all nursing care is performed in compliance to standards and adherence to regulations. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex medical needs. Responsibilities The Pharmacy Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assists with medication management, patient care, and pharmacy operations under the supervision of a pharmacist or other licensed healthcare professional. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to:
Receiving written prescription or refill requests and verify that information is complete and accurate
Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications
Physical Capabilities: Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
