The University of Virginia's Faculty and Employee Assistance Program (FEAP), part of UVA Human Resources, is hiring an Employee Assistance Consultant. This entry-level role is a great opportunity for early-career behavioral health professionals to build clinical skills while supporting the well-being of UVA employees and community partners. FEAP provides confidential counseling, assessment, referral, training, and critical incident response services. We help faculty, staff, their families, and community partners strengthen both personal well-being and organizational health, while promoting workplace wellness and resilience. Our team-based approach ensures employees receive high-quality, professional support tailored to individual and organizational needs. Responsibilities

The anticipated hiring range is $58,000 - $65,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule in accordance with UVA's remote work guidelines. Occasional travel to UVA and community worksites is required, and the role includes participation in an after-hours on-call rotation following onboarding. This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
