The Field Autoverification Consultant position optimizes a customer's clinical laboratory goals, with a specialization in autoverification. This position's primary responsibilities are to provide consulting services to customers and facilitate the implementation, training, and use of autoverification. While a majority of the work can be performed remotely, this position requires approximately 33% travel, including overnight travel, to customers located across the US. Candidates should reside no more than 50 miles from a major metropolitan US airport.

The Opportunity

  • Consult with customers and key stakeholders to design and implement highly complex autoverification to maximize the RDC solution for the customer

  • Provide integration project leadership including project scope definition, acceptance, timelines, and approval

  • Determine customer needs and set appropriate installation expectations including project management; monitor project statuses through regular updates; ensure collaboration occurs between customers, Roche, and vendors; maintain internal tracking systems for services and customer follow-up

  • Perform validation process of applicable IT solutions to evaluate effectiveness

  • Provide routine follow-up support to ensure customers are adopting full use of IT product features; ensure all customers are fully satisfied with their IT connectivity solution and IT product optimization

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify areas of opportunity; lead and drive solutions

  • Provide feedback to the organization (i.e. Global, Marketing, stakeholders, etc.) on potential product enhancements and customer requirements

  • Develop and implement training, including materials and/or installation guides for supported IT products, develop consulting tools and service offerings

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Clinical Laboratory or equivalent work experience.

  • 3 + years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical diagnostic equipment, reagents and/or systems.

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of Laboratory Experience

  • Advanced knowledge of the integration of laboratory information systems, analytical instrumentation and automation systems.

  • Understands rule algorithms or Boolean Logic.

  • Ability to work with ambiguity as product line ramps up and new options become available

  • Working knowledge and experience with Roche Middleware product cobas Infinity

  • 1+ years of Lab Management and/or Supervisory experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems, consult and drive resolution

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolisis $80,300.00 to $149,100.00 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
