What this position entails

By leveraging our relationships with retail pharmacy chains, Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), and data clearinghouses, Milliman IntelliScript assesses pharmacy and other types of data on both identified and de-identified basis. IntelliScript's SaaS tools analyze and organize large volumes of data through risk management applications designed for health plans and life insurers. Data Analysts on the Technical Operations team are responsible for implementing and testing client-specific configurations of our system.

What you will be doing



  • Support Irix technology, serving as a technical subject matter expert
  • Learn the inner workings of our technology, and communicate effectively on technical subjects
  • Execute all non-clinical adjustments to Irix Rules Engine and assist with clinical adjustments where necessary
  • Perform detailed impact and regression testing within the Irix Rules Engine for client and clinical changes
  • Conduct mortality, incidence rate, and decision simulation studies following rule changes
  • Assist with user acceptance testing of system changes
  • Create, identify, and analyze test cases for proposed rule changes
  • Update project management system with specifications and changes, statuses of tasks
  • Check and validate team members' work and results in peer review workflow
  • Prepare and run reports for evidence-based research initiatives
  • Deploy cloud-based systems to test
  • Deploy legacy on prem systems to test & production


What we need



  • 1+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working in Databricks and AWS
  • Familiarity with MS Office: Excel in particular
  • Familiarity with SQL
  • The ability to work with confidential and sensitive information (HIPAA).

Location

The expected application deadline for this job is November 30, 2025. This position is open to remote work. Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI.

Compensation

The overall salary range for this role is $54,900 - $125,040. For candidates residing in:



  • Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia:

    • $60,390 - $93,610 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
    • $71,720 - $114,620 for experience greater than 2 years.


  • New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco:

    • $65,880 - $102,120 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
    • $78,240 - $125,040 for experience greater than 2 years.


  • All other states:

    • $54,900 - $85,100 if overall experience is less than 2 years; and
    • $65,200 - $104,200 for experience greater than 2 years.




A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.
