Position Description
The Human Resilience Technology Group is seeking a co-op student to support research programs in soft robotics for urban search and rescue. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields. This position will focus on the development of distributed sensor networks for soft, growing robots, with opportunities to work across the full stack of robotics research-from hardware and electronics fabrication to sensor processing and human-computer interaction. Students will also contribute to peer-reviewed academic publications. Eligibility: Applicants should be current academic juniors or above. Graduate students are also encouraged to apply. This position requires comfort work in and around engineered rubble piles. Ideal candidates will have:
