Join The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center in Kansas City as a Resident Manager and help individuals on their journey to recovery, stability, and renewed purpose. This is a full-time, 2nd-shift position offering $18 per hour and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those rebuilding from addiction and hardship. What You'll Do Supervise and support residents to ensure a positive, structured, and safe living environment Lead weekly house meetings and enforce program standards Conduct new-beneficiary orientations and facility tours Monitor medication calls and maintain accurate records Complete incident reports, Safe From Harm documentation, and daily activity logs Support residents through mentorship, accountability, and encouragement Coordinate recreational and spiritual activities Provide safe transportation as needed and assist with work-therapy supervision What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent (some college or supervisory experience preferred) Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills Compassionate, dependable leadership style Basic computer and reporting abilities Why You'll Love Working Here $18/hour starting pay Full-time, consistent 2nd-shift schedule (40 hours per week) Supportive, mission-driven team environment Professional training and career development opportunities Work that truly changes lives About The Salvation Army The Salvation Army is an international movement and part of the universal Christian Church.
